Weird Farah development. She was sleeping in my bed earlier and when she realized I was in the room she jumped off. I tried to pet her to show her it was okay and she flattened onto the floor, looking at me with the kind of fear I haven't seen since the early days. Could not get close enough to even touch her. She ducked under the bed then out the door on the other side of the room. Was taking treats and pets in the hall minutes later.

Should I take this as a possible sign that she was punished for being on furniture by whoever had her before she ended up at the shelter? I have to say, it was a bit shocking given how well she's been doing.
