Android 15 has introduced a new feature called Private Space, designed to enhance device security. This feature allows users to create a secure area for apps and files, protected by a separate password/PIN/biometric. Even if someone gains access to your phone, they won't be able to view content stored in the Private Space.
To set up Private Space, navigate to Settings > Security & Privacy > Private space, and follow the prompts. You'll need to verify it's you with a password, PIN, or biometrics, then create a new lock for the Private Space.
While some have reported issues with bricking phones, others have experienced no problems. The feature has also raised concerns about users hiding sensitive information from their significant others, work, or other entities.
