I think Monero integrated in a nostr platform would work better for donations in youtube-like nostr clients, or github-like nostr clients to fund open source projects via XMR, then speed doesn't matter as much as twitter clones where notes are appearing every second, and the amounts don't need to be public like in an upvoting/boosting system
