Whenever Rock Hudson is trending, I like to remind everyone how his so-called "friends" Ronald and Nancy Reagan refused to acknowledge, much less help, him as he died of AIDS. 

And the Reagans watched thousands of Americans die of the illness while refusing to even mention it.
