Although brics-pay.com and the unitfoundation.org may offer an improvement over the current weaponised swift fiat system - it's just a centralised permissioned system controlled by Statist if they do not allow users to permissionously convert into the underlying reserve assets and store their own keys...

Over the longer term, it will not be able to compete against stablecoins & ecash transfered over lightning, which can be cashed out into BTC at anytime and transfered permissionously back to the base layer.
