A new forecast from ICSC, a retail real estate trade group, predicts a surge in in-person shopping this holiday season. According to the survey, 92% of consumers plan to shop in physical stores during the holidays, up from 87% last year. This marks the highest percentage since 2019. Tom McGee, ICSC's president and CEO, attributes this trend to the growing synergy between online and offline shopping.
