I read some of the highlights since it ended, and I may finish it but honestly just depresses me about the state of politics.

JD Vance is just another con man but since he isn't going senile he still can sound rational and can launder far right talking points to sound like they have some rationale... Until you actually think about what he actually send and think about how things actually play out. But in the moment it sounds pretty good, though the spell breaks when he brings Trump in and you remember what the platform is actually about. I have seen sanewashing as a concept tossed around and it definitely seems apt with him.

Tim Walz is just there. I have a hard time expressing my disappointment with the democrats since they are the ones I tend to agree with more but yet seem way to eager to compromise on or ignore serious issues like real ways to combat climate change, the fact the USA is essentially the biggest war merchant, and they will bend to elites while pretending that some taxes on the rich will actually take care of the financial inequality in this country.

I have already determined that I will vote democratic socialist this year. I am just tired of the craziness and since I know how my district will vote and I don't truly affect it due to the electoral college, I might as well vote how in actually want to.
