Why is that not feasible? I've done something similar with Paris before. Fly over there, spend a day, fly back home, turn around and fly back to Paris, spend a day, then fly back home all in a single week. 

I don't see how that's not feasible. People literally do that. 

I know someone from Alberta who's flown to Tokyo just to go to a bar with a friend and then went back home a few hours later. 

You're acting like this is some really far fetched notion when in actuality it's not and people do stuff like that literally even day.
