he threatened me, I refused to show fear, then I went to smoke a cigarette with my friend. We went to the edge of the school parking lot, and hid behind a car. While we were smoking, I heard someone coming. I peeked around the car, and it was the gigantic jock dude. He was coming right toward us. So I jumped out and said, “you lookin for me?” In the most menacing tone I could muster. The look on his face shocked me. He turned white, and went back into the school. 
When I went in, I saw him at his locker. I walked up to him and said something completely retarded…” I think it’s great you came out there by yourself”, then walked away.

It wasn’t until much later that i deduced that I had hidden behind his car to smoke. He thought he threatened me, and I immediately went out to his car waiting to ambush him with a friend. And when I saw him at the locker, he thought I was telling him, “you are alone out there MFer. I can get you”

I had NO idea. I also didn’t know why people were suddenly leaving me alone, and girls were talking to me. It was decades before I figured it out 🤷
