 Wyoming Grants DAOs New Legal Structure. The governor signed a law setting up a legal status – "decentralized unincorporated nonprofit associations" – for DAOs there, and one investment firm called Wyoming an "oasis."

 Wyoming has recently passed a law that grants decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) a new legal structure called "decentralized unincorporated nonprofit associations" (DUNAs) . This new legal framework allows DAOs to establish themselves as unincorporated nonprofit associations in the state of Wyoming . The law was signed by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon and is set to take effect on July 1, 2024
