Interesting...I've found Linux compelling for many, many years now, and yet as time has gone on, I've found myself feeling less and less aligned with any particular distribution (including Ubuntu, although I still feel that's a pretty solid distro). 

There are some really great distros out there (Tails and Parrot come immediately to mind) and that's really the beauty of Linux--so many different flavors.
