Tom Holland will be playing the titular role of Romeo in a stage production of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet at the Duke of York's Theatre in London from May 23 to August 3. Francesca Amewudah-Rivers has been cast as Juliet. The previews of the stage play will begin on May 11. Other cast members include Freema Agyeman as the Nurse, Tomiwa Edun as Capulet, Michael Balogun as Friar, Daniel Quinn-Toye as Paris, Mia Jerome as Montague, Nima Taleghani as Benvolio, Ray Sesay as Tybalt, and Joshua-Alexander Williams as Mercutio.
