YIL a 12 year old can have an ovarian cyst rupture. Wut? 

And if the cyst is on the right side, looks a bit like the ol' appendicitis. Which is what you expect your kid to have, not OVARY PROBLEMS. 

By the time she got to the CT scan (9:30pm) her pain had subsided so the findings made sense. Got home at 11, had potato chips and dip for dinner, and she'll go to school late so she can sleep in a bit.
