 I was thinking about that a few days ago. I can't imagine any normie that is 70, or above, wanting to deal with Nostr. I hope I'm proven wrong, many times over.

 Whatever client feels the better, although making sure is connected to semi to fully enclosed relays only, —as in paid relays or domestic self hosted relays—.  Key may be going over the lines of moderation and trust going together, hand in hand

 I don't have tutorials bookmarked yet... I did followed https://relay.tools git project to set mine over a paid vps and a registered domain; however I think the service offer a plug n play solution if using the domain and servers of them. Right away after installation it gives you a clearnet url such as https://nostr21.com that you could simply share with your relatives without a need for them to write to the protocol but still being able to read an check its content 🤙 .

 0xchat is mostly a chat app. I think I remember the dev getting frustrated last year that no one was using it, so he started adding features to make it more of a social client. It works well though.

 Seeing my posts. Have been thinking of deleting Instagram and it's the last one I have connection with my mother and she sees my stories about gigs, music and travels, and she does interact 😁
