We do a Bitcoin bush bash here in Australia. In small towns. Everyone has to travel in and we book out every hotel, motel and camp site. 
We also do a camping only version on remote farms or in national parks. They are pretty epic. 
All free, no KYC, presenters just show up with a laptop and someone generously brings along a project and speaker set up. 
Someone posts a date and location and people just take care of the rest.
