I only disagree in that if your problem starts affecting other people it becomes an actual problem. But if it's just a problem to you, then who's to day it's sitting you can't overcome or moderate within your own life? Why is it my business to tell you how to live? Unless what you're doing is hurting other people? Then you gotta stop that shit man.
It's not, not at all, and I'm ok. I'm just going through a bit of an odd time at the moment, I'm a few years South of 50 ATM and I don't "Need" to work. I've taken the last 6 months off, thinking I'd like it, and I did, for the first few months. Now🤔, nope!! It's driving me round the bend. To much time, too many distractions🤷🏻♂️.
I'm not saying anything🤷🏽 I'm just saying when I think it's a problem and not. I dunno your situation. 🤷🏽 But I highly doubt you're robbing people for 1 more hit or anything🤷🏽 This is only affecting you meaning it's your deal🤷🏽 who are we to say anything
Who are WE to say Anthony about YOUR life 🤷🏽
I'm good. It's my shit to sort out🎉.
Since you're talking drugs. You probably get philosophical from time to time. So let me put it like this and you can let it pour over your brain and percolate all sorts of thoughts over the upcoming decades. Rene Descarte said "I think therefore I am." So really I can prove I'm real. I'm experiencing me. You? Well you could be a Nostr bot. Nostr could not even exist. It could be a fed Honeypot and I'm taking to my NSA agent right now. You could be a different of my imagination and I'm schitzo. This could be the matrix and those octopus things implant you in the system so we're both real but what we experience isn't. I can't prove you're real or not🤷🏽 so why do I care about your opinion🤷🏽 why do you care if other people care? Not to be harsh. I still care about your opinion. But like really if you beat down to it. Why? Right? Furthermore, Carl Sagan once said we are all star stuff. Meaning we're made up of the same materials that the stars are all those lightyears away. Maybe literally the exact atoms from stars exploded eons ago. And if you think about it a certain way, it's like we are all a part of the universe as of it's one living organism constantly moving. Except in this view we are like the ants and fleas in our scale of the universe. So incredibly tiny that we couldn't really possibly have much impact in the long run whether it be out size in comparison to a planet or sun, how much importance we have in context of the gravity of a black hole, or the short length of our lives in terms of the start to the ultimate heat death of the universe. We are like the cancer cells on the universe's ass become conscious and slowly moving around leaving a path of decay. But in a lighter now if we are a part of the universe, as if it was a living conscious being of it's own, then really truly I believe the point of life is to live it. To experience it. And share your experience with others. Because if you do you. And I do me. Then we tell each other about it. That's how the universe learns about itself. 🤷🏽
That's a rather grandiose explanation, thank you, I echo a great number of your sentiments. You're clearly a philosopher, of sorts🤷🏻♂️. Have you read Philosophy? When you boil it all down, YOU are God. Prove me wrong, either way.
Mmm I myself don't believe that. But there are many ways of thinking that explicitly say that straight out so who's to say🤷🏽 I find myself too imperfect to have done anything as great as even being a party of the creation of the universe in the many myths from around the world. But I mean things as serious as Hinduism teach that you are God pretty explicitly. And things as fictional as the Exorcist novel basically spell out that the big band or the let there be light, the creation of the universe is God tearing himself into pieces so that we may live , his body being space and time, and God being Lucifer and it mirrors in the birth working deteriorating and death that every humanlives through. Which mirrors other things like 2001 A Space Odyssey in that you can look at it as the monolith being the full history of man. From evolving from apes via the Discovery of tools leading to our final mental achievements being landing on the moon and becoming God. And what do gods do? They create life being the ai before they pass on to the next plane a space baby learning everything a new.
I'm an atheist per se. If I was to be inclined, I'd be Buddhist, which I've studied at length. I've also seen the spiritual leader, The Dali Lama, giving a speech, at no more than 30 yards away. Separately, I've read his works, of which, he said this: and I'm paraphrasing here; A Westerner thinks he's interested in Buddhism till he thinks it is too difficult, then let's it fall by the way side. At which point, he finds his mind in a body without a home. I'll just let that sink in. "At which point, he finds his mind in a body without a home". That's a fucking difficult proposition man, believe me🙏🏻.
