 Isn’t Apple Cash only on an IPhone? Aren’t like 99% of iPhones financed through the network provider? Don’t you have to be 18 and KYCd just to get the financing? Aren’t all the sub 18yo folks just mooching off the parents? 

So in the end isn’t all this just for the like .05% of people who bought an unlocked brand new or used iPhone and set up an Apple account using fake info and are now somehow money laundering through Apple Cash? Surely there is another means of identifying such people. 

Data collection is out of control. 

 I feel like this must be some way related to the orders #Apple have in the #EU about allowing #payment to devs via third party routes. I can't quite pin down how this will help them but it's where I'm looking.
