I DO feel like a victim for being barred from going into a restaurant because I wouldn’t inject myself with poison.

I want to repudiate that in whatever way I can, avail myself of every lever I have. 

I get his point, and you shouldn’t ID with your grievances. But the state abused my civil liberties the last four years, and I will do what I can (however meager) to sweep those who did so from power.
