Agitation In South East Reducing Under Tinubu – Kalu ========== Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, stated that the crises in the South East region have reduced under President Bola Tinubu's approach to peace through non-kinetic means. Kalu made this statement at the plenary session of the ongoing 2024 First Ordinary Season of the ECOWAS Parliament. He mentioned that the military has toned down its operations and followed Tinubu's directive to use non-kinetic means to settle conflicts in the zone. This approach has helped restore tranquility in the region and enabled the zone to appeal for the release of agitators in prison through a political solution.
