Over a year ago now I asked nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc on stacker news why Wikipedia is seemingly struggling with the “Value for Value” model.
He provided a thoughtful response here:

In that reply he offered “programmatic V4V splits” as a reward mechanism for posts on Wikipedia. I think this is the project he had in mind.
Please look into adding zaps so we can reward people for their research efforts into the articles they write. And consider adding splits for co-authors/merges.
