 The World Cup Incheon continued on its second day, with several notable performances in the swimming events. Pieter Coetzee of South Africa set a new African record in the 50-meter backstroke, finishing with a time of 22.80 seconds. This achievement marked a significant improvement from his previous record of 22.94 seconds set at the 2022 World Short Course-Championship. In the 200-meter individual medley, Leon Marchand of France emerged victorious with a time of 1:50.91, outpacing competitors Duncan Scott and Daiya Seto.

In the women's 200-meter freestyle event, Siobhan Haughey of Hong Kong dominated the competition, finishing with a time of 1:51.02. The event saw strong performances from Brittany Castelluzzo and Milla Jansen, who secured second and third place respectively.
