Today is the 5th of November.
Your fun fact for the day is that Alan Moore has hated every adaptation of his books into movies.
In the case of V for Vendetta, the reason is obvious for those who read the book and watched the movie. The book is a timeless story of individual liberty VS oppressive governments, it stands up every time you read it. The movie is very much about the existing US and UK governments at the time the movie was made. The movie felt dated as soon as the figureheads of both governments changed.
TLDR, you should read the V for Vendetta comic if you haven't. If you have, go read it again. The movie is not the same thing.
