This morning Word was doing Strange Things. I didn't have time to check but as I used Outlook just now, a Strange Thing happened.
Sigh; an update messed up my settings and the doomed 'Curly Quotes' or 'Smart Quotes' as they call them now made their way back into my settings 🙄

First location to reset: 'AutoFormat'.
Second location to reset:
'AutoFormat As You Type'.

The third location has been removed eons ago, thankfully.
Oh, and remember to change this in Word as well 🙄🙄🙄
