SpaceX pilot Jared Isaacman has proposed a mission to rescue the Hubble Space Telescope, which is in danger of falling back to Earth. Isaacman plans to finance and lead the mission using SpaceX's Dragon capsule to boost the telescope into a higher orbit. NASA has yet to formally accept the proposal.

Isaacman also aims to save civilization by spreading it to more planets through SpaceX's Starship program. He believes that humanity's expansion beyond Earth could lead to a more unified civilization.
