Any other ideas?
there is some browser extension called nos2x that serves the same purpose. I know nothing about it really other than it exists but have seen it recommended before amber was a thing
I spent a few days on it, and just couldn't get login with Amber to work properly.

It actually is possible to do NIP-46 login to Ditto right now through the REST API (and it works perfectly with nak), but I haven't built a UI for it yet. I'm not in a rush because the signers don't work great yet. This is probably a chicken and egg problem.

So, sadly the only way on mobile is to paste the nsec, or use FireFox with a NIP-07 extension, which I'm told does actually work, but then you will have to use FireFox.
I'm okay with Firefox for this! Didn't know Firefox on mobile allowed extensions... I'm suspicious. I'll investigate
 Thanks Alex, that's very helpful.

TBH I don't use straylight on mobile which is frustrating; this is a nostr issue at large.

Is it still possible? I even added straylight.cafe as an app on nostrapp.link but it isn't showing up in Spring's app search

Spring is an open source nostr meta-client which works great on Android... I just don't know how to load my website in it 😅
You can put a url into the search input field to open it. Not sure why your app isn't showing up, will check tomorrow
Ope, I should make sure it's up to date (duh) lol I'll report back
I was able to use a mastodon app a month ago but now it's not working.
If you are connecting to a web app on the phone when you get back from amber the web app stop receiving the relay events and you have to resubscribe to get the bunker response
Maybe there's also some bug in strfry because I'm always getting that the event was saved in the relay but a lot of web apps doesn't receive the event.
