Wendy's is introducing AI-powered drive-thrus that can take orders in Spanish at 28 locations in Florida and Ohio. The technology, powered by Google Cloud's large language model, aims to improve efficiency and accuracy. Customers can choose to have the AI greet them in Spanish by saying "Spanish" or "Español." This expansion of FreshAI comes after Taco Bell announced its own AI order-taking system.
