I've taken care of the spam with relays, so that doesn't bother me much. 

I get not wanting to use your phone so much. I'm getting to that point, philosophically but not practically. Yet. 

One of the opensats projects is a desktop singer. Hopefully that will come to fruition and be useful in a short amount of time.
