Oddbean new post about login | logout I grew up during the early years of the web. Does anyone else get some of those same vibes when using tech like Nostr? I frequently feel the same sense of wonder and curiosity that I did back then. It seems like the web has been mostly just a handful of centralized websites/applications for the past 15 years or so. Boring, really.
I feel the same way. I thought the Internet would stave off the control of banks and corporations. Bitcoin and nostr make me think we can do that again.
