Preparing to choose a work laptop. This generation feels like a pain, but at least there are some models with more than 32G of memory. As usual, I feel tense about Linux support with recent models, since I don't want to run after patches on a work OS. It also needs to be 14 inch, because I'll be carrying several machines...

Does anyone want to dissuade me from a ThinkPad T14/P14s Gen 4? Does anyone have experience with AMD/Intel support quality? Wild suggestions?
