The only thing I would add is that while strive for all these things described by DarthCoin, you need to remaon victorious and powerful at all times. Sufficoent power is the only absolute thing. If you become absolutist about bank accounts and your alliencies and lose power by doing that, you will just end up being a weak recluse.
