Actually no. It will ask to use camera or mic. you can say no to both. BUT it does have a built in text chat. And you dont have to login. you can stay anonymous if youd like. We had a movie night where we all hung out on the chat and disabled mics so no one talked over the movie. It was a blast If you ever want to test it out privately DM me and i can set it up
