This is what happens when a communist system embraces corporatism to further the power, financing and reach of the government.

This allows the outsourcing of surveillance to corporations that are indirectly controlled by the government via regulations and economic sanctions. The corporations that don't play ball with government instructions can easily be dismantled by the bureaucrats overseeing them.

Want to force experimental treatments upon a population? Just outsource the dirty work to all major corporations, who exist and prosper at the mercy of their alignment with government doctrine.

Dengism is how communism survived in spite of its devastating economic policies, resulting in a merge with corporatism. A few steps of a false free market charade was enough to prop up the communist establishment with newfound economic resources and extended powers of central planning.
