Thunderbird 115 UI changes are not altogether positive. (I'm being kind.)

There should ALWAYS be an option to keep the old UI in software updates.

But software developers love to come into our online living rooms and rearranged the furniture -- and prevent us from putting it back the way it was. 

It's obnoxious and standard operating procedure.
