🚨 HOLY COW The US economy added a whopping 336,000 (!) jobs in September –  another strong month of hiring that blows past the 170,000 that was forecast.

* Unemployment rate: 3.8% (same as August)

* Unemployment below 4% for 20 consecutive months now

* Wage growth: 4.2% y/y (above 3.7% inflation)

* It was the strongest month for jobs since January.
