I'm pleased to say after visiting El Salvador and its circular economy using #Bitcoin , I've convinced myself that Satoshi's vision for "peer to peer electronic cash" has come mostly true. Lightning Network is far from mature. On the other hand, it performed tremendously at nostr:nprofile1qqswkhs47p9unc7lsmqsqv9kvh07sf2pq9gurcan4r8r7s524ap0jfclt62u8 and about the country using custodial solutions, much like prepaid mobile usage. I saw it full action and my my conviction is deeper that with and above layer 1 of the network, the vision has come true. 🧡🚀🌋⚡🇭🇳
Big shout outs to Blink and Bitrefill for supporting the action I saw.
Absolutely. Similarly, seeing bitcoin in action everywhere at nostr:nprofile1qqs254dy0xkkjdxsl4u08k7cs52u689q67s3pqfwwyfcp4va7avcjdgpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqzxrhwden5te0d35kw6r5de5kuemjv4kxz7fwvdhk6qg0waehxw309ahx7tnnw3ezucmjuuqkn2 changed my whole thoughts on all of it.
Is anyone working on more of a federated type node for LN? Not fedi or ecash, I mean LN. Perhaps a smaller and more localized version of a centralized node. Enable larger channels and more liquidity in a shared pool or node with a group of friends, family, whoever. But still have the keys and can withdraw or something. I mean honestly, with my node I rarely ever have channel liquidity issues or routing fails anymore. But still would be sick.
