I’d be happy if I made enough from writing to not have to work a second job but to do that (barring becoming very lucky and hitting the bestsellers list) I’d have to write different kinds of books, churn out several in a year, that sort of thing, and that doesn’t appeal to me. Also, my current WIP started in lockdown 2020 so three years ago, and I consider that a recent one. Im not a fast writer
