 Islands of liberty seems to ring true.  I had this discussion yesterday about bitcoin as a circular economy. 

I have no doubt bitcoin will be one of the biggest monies of the world, but others will exist. Even within bitcoin individual L2 communities will exist with different attributes. 

To what extent the cypherpunk bitcoin community will grow is unknown. But I'm grateful to live in a world that it exists at all, even if it's just on an island.
