Yeah, it's tough. I'm currently running into trouble managing everything in LibreOffice Calc. It's not even that much, but it gets out of hand so easily. I'm going to have to make some upgrades. My personal finances are basically just checking now and then to see if I generally have more Bitcoin than before.
Genuine protip: Use a database. Look for MS Access alternatives; having table references and "proper" referencing will come in handy way faster than you'd think. That said, prepared statements/queries (like, "Will I have more BTC in x at tredectory y?") are basically prepared questions :) Calc/Excel reaches it's limits fast once you start working across multiple named zones and cross-references... Been there, done that. x)
