i could see myself using it, if i was mostly listening to underground and remixes and so forth

also they both run 320Kbps afaik, with Tidal and Apple Music both supporting FLAC 

 I've been using Spotify since the good ol' days of this twat so I'm not sure how YT's library compares

 I was using Spotify from like 2011 or something when they first launched but recently changed to tidal, now considering to change to YT 

 It is true as well. YT has a better algo even if you are opening it in a private window. Catching up really quickly on your style.  

 Agreed here -- If I have something specific to listen to, any of these services will do. If I want to do the radio thing and see what comes up, I go to YT Music

 No wayyy 🫂 tidal sound quality is 🔥 - for me, but I know it’s a mixed opinion 

 I’m paying tidal atm but every time I open YT music I’m pissed at how good it is and I’m not even paying for it

 Tidal stole all my listener data for 9 years and forced me to delete the account and never transferred anything. Most dishonest company around 

 NGL, Youtube Music *is* the only google service I happily pay for.  I recognized years ago that it seemed to be "smarter" about music choices based on my listening & interactions than spotify etc.  I've tried others over the years since, but that "smartness" still shines through.
