 I chainsaws so.e sapling down amd got some really nice  walking sticks out of it. 
 then you paint or tape the ends so it the moisture stays trapped and you live a happy life 🤌

 I had to do some major tree maintenance with a chainsaw when i bought a house years ago. Kept a few good branches for just this purpose and left them to dry. Might be about time to pull one out and use it 🤔
