 It was a raunchy comedian at a rally that made the floating garbage remarks. 
Funny or not, it was a joke.  
Presidents calling half the population “garbage” is not comparable.  Wasn’t in a “joke” setting and felt like he meant it.

 Felt like it was meant in both cases. I don’t know why there’s so much effort to split hairs here and dismiss one or not the other. The “jokes” were vetted by the event time and along with not being funny at all, they were needless offensive. If the Democrats brought someone into any event to do the same thing, would you accept the “iTs jUsT jOkEz yOuZe GuYs!!!” excuse?

 Politicians dont say these things historically.
Its one thing for a comedian, quite another for Hillary or biden to say something about 50% of the US population.
