My wife is black. Very clearly made to be a mother. She's fantastic at it.

We both came from situations where one parent was not around for one reason or another so we both struggle in the relationship a little bit. We love each other and our communication is top-notch. We're also surrounded by Christian friends who care and talk to us in depth about managing a marriage long term. 

She's been married once before. Family pressured her but he had cheated on her I believe 7 times so her trust was destroyed. He otherwise treated her very poorly and blamed her for everything. 

Then I came along.
