One way, if you're on Debian/Ubuntu or similar, is from the terminal:

qrencode --type png --size 256 --output <filename>.png "lightning:<user>@<domain.tld>"

There are other output types such as "ansiutf8" that can output to the terminal.

 Just type "qr code generator" into any search engine.  Paste in your ln address.  There's no risk of sharing or uploading an ln address.

 Huh, vipsats?  No, use Google or duckduckgo, any search engine will give you links to websites where you can paste text and spit out a qr code image for free that you can save.

 It doesn't matter where you create an LN address.  A QR code is just a machine readable format.  You can put any text you like into a qr generator.
