As per the regulations, all banks will be closed on Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays, and national and regional holidays. ATMs will be available throughout these holidays, and internet banking services will remain operational. On June 29, most places do not observe a bank holiday because it falls on the third Saturday of the month. However, an exception to this is the city of Kohima in Nagaland, where banks will be closed due to poll day for Municipal & Town Council Elections. The central bank designates certain holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) holidays, and Banks' Closing of Accounts. ATMs will be available throughout these holidays, and internet banking services will remain operational.
