The last time it happened the guy just kind of sputtered and stuttered because he didn’t know what to say, he didn’t want to openly admit he was accusing me of lying. After watching him flail about for a few seconds I wanted the uncomfortable encounter to end so I simply said “Thankfully I don’t look as bad as I feel I couldn’t really handle that.”
