 I have a 14yo stepdaughter that's very corrupted by her bio-dad. We're the bad parents for not fulfilling the current desires she gets from seeing internet influencoors. 🙄 

 Kids are not for the faint of heart. 
Gotta stick with it. They watch everything & sometimes the lightbulb just goes off & they get it.

 As kids get older they need to feel useful.  Have some purpose. 
My daughter helped me build a new ramp for our shed a few years ago & still talks about it & shows people when over. 
It was such a simple task but it was an accomplishment & people just want to feel useful.
