Theological π opinion piece: Calvinism must and should always be rejected, π especially in the United States where it is so prevalent. Many, π€ many churches π push Calvinistic π teaching, π― as π well π€ as Lordship Salvation nonsense that is not only anti-biblical but completely anti-grace that God gives freely to any believer. I have heard all of the arguments and nonsensical comebacks to π this like π€ βcheap graceβ and βeasy believismβ and it is tragic to see people so desperate to cling to their π works salvation mindset to π justify π their π belief that π₯ they are better than others on the π basis of their works. They also π cling to Calvinism because it makes them feel special π€ that they π were somehow π chosen for eternal π₯ salvation over someone else, even though in Calvinistic and Lordship thought, π you can π never been be sure π if youβre born π again. God did not and does not π₯ choose specific people π for eternal salvation; Christ did not die π€ only π₯ for those that will be saved, Christ π died for all. π Election π― is to service, π not salvation. π God does π€ not guarantee every believer will persevere. We π― donβt π€ look to our works as proof we π are born again, but π₯ as the faithful π and guaranteed promise that π Christ has made π us regarding π everlasting life π to π all π who π₯ believe. βMost π― assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me π Has everlasting life.β π€ John 6:47 Not π€ chosen π₯ for salvation; π₯ not whoever βbehavesβ in Me; and it is even not βwhoever accepts me π€ into their heart as π€ Lord and Savior,β whatever that means; but it is to believe the π very promise that Christ has made to each π and every human being. Whoever π believes HAS (present tense) π€ eternal life and will not come into judgment. Why isnβt what Jesus said π enough? π We must keep the grace of God in our sight π― at all times, Praise Him. π―
