Bolivia has lifted its ban on Bitcoin and authorized crypto transactions via banks. The new legislation, which became effective on June 26, 2024, was introduced in collaboration with the Financial Investigations Unit, the Financial System Supervisory Authority, and the central bank of Bolivia.The lifting of the ban marks the end of a prohibition on crypto use in the country that had been in place since 2014
