Washington Hilton, Washington, DC, 2023.

This Brutalist hotel, opened 1965, features curved facades and winged canopies evokling Eero Saarinen's airport terminals. But the designer was actually William Tabler.

The property currently hosts the White House Correspondents Association Dinner and the Shmoocon hacker conference. It was the site of an assassination attempt on President Reagan,  giving rise to its nickname, the Hinckley Hilton.
