The fact one has to carefully look for the ai artefacts to distinguish the AI one is quite impressive. In a year humans probably won't be realiably able to tell what's what in most cases.
By that time the movement in videos will also become sorta convincing.
Photos taken by smartphones are "fake" for a long time. Now AI will take it much further. The output of the smartphone photography will be increasingly an AI interpretation of a complex data captured in a brief moment.
"Raw" photos from dedicated pro cameras will look amateurish in comparison unless an absolute master uses it (often with extra lights/flashes etc).
If there still was some reason to use dedicated consumer/prosumer cameras up to this point... they are 💀 in a few years.
